DWRL Interest Form

In 2015-16, DWRL AIs will staff 20 hours per week instead of teaching. They will be introduced to lively conversations trending in the digital humanities and get hands-on training with a wide variety of digital resources, including computers, A/V equipment, a wide array of multimedia software appropriate to the rhetoric classroom, content management systems, online pedagogical resources, and other digital tools. They'll attend a mandatory two-day orientation in late August (before classes start); mentor instructors in the Lab’s classrooms; participate in various skills workshops and in a project group that publishes an online deliverable. Those who staff in the DWRL for a full year will complete the DWR-Certificate, for which they will create a digital portfolio that showcases the valuable professional skillset they’ve developed in the Lab.
